The Dailey Angus Ranch is a family owned business located in the beautiful Nebraska sandhills. We strive to produce highly fertile and functional range cows and bulls for our customers and through our honesty, maintain lasting relationships. Our lasting relationships are strengthened by our integrity and the longevity of our cows and bull.

We started in the registered angus business in 1991 in North Platte, Ne., with only 10 cows. We had our first production sale in 1997 in North Platte selling yearling bulls. Up until that time we sold bulls by private treaty. By the year 2000 we had expanded our herd to 150 cows and moved to Ainsworth, Ne. In 2002, we moved our sale to Valentine, Ne. In January, 2006, we held our first joint production sale with Diamond Lazy J Ranch, Greg and Tim Nollette, from Nenzel, Ne. At this time we started selling coming two year old bulls and stopped selling yearlings. In the spring of 2006 we moved to our present location at Thedford, NE. We chose the Thedford location because of it's rugged sandhills and location. We felt this was the right location to raise good angus cattle on very little inputs. Cattle raised in the sandhills have to be able to adapt to the extreme variability of Nebraska weather. Winters can be harsh with temperatures dropping below zero with gusty winds. Summers are often hot and dry, temperatures often exceed 100 degrees.

We have been members of the American Angus Association since 1991. Through the use of AIMS software, extensive records are kept on each cow.

We raise all our cattle naturally and they have to work on the grass God provided for them. We do not work for our cows. We do not use growth hormones, insecticides or grain and plan on being certified organic in the near future.

We extend an invitation for anyone to stop and view our cattle at anytime. We always have time for guests.
